We are rapidly approaching the 4th of July holiday. I’d like to remind everyone that we will be having our 4th of July fundraiser lunch. It is BBQ Pork Ribs, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, and Dessert. Also, we will have Lemonade, Iced Tea, Ice water, and Coffee available to drink. So, come on down and get out of the heat, enjoy good food, and good visiting! And above all else ……. have a safe and “Happy 4th of July”.
If you would like a nice cool place to enjoy lunch and to visit, come have lunch with us. We serve lunch at 12 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. For Take-Out Meals, please call in your order by 10:00 a.m. and pick up is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you are ordering multiple meals please try and call in the day before. The July menus are ready for pick up at the Center.
The menu for the coming week: Friday June 27th: Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Hashbrown Potatoes, Biscuits & Gravy, Mandarin Orange Slices w/Cottage Cheese, and Dessert. Tuesday July 1st: Sloppy Jo Sandwich, Tater Tots, Pickled Beets, Cole Slaw, Fruit, and Dessert. Wednesday July 2nd: Cold Sub (Turkey or Ham w/Cheese), Pasta Salad, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert. We will be closed on Friday the 4th for inside dinning for our fundraiser!
If you are looking for something to do in the evenings on the first and third Fridays, we would love to have you come and play Bingo with us. We have been having a lot of fun with it. Because the first Friday is on the 4th, our next Bingo will be on Friday July 11th. The Black Out pot is up to $160, and Jared will be calling 61 numbers for it. Unless something comes up, we have bingo on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. For new players, folks start showing up around 6:30 p.m. or after and Jared starts calling at 7:00 p.m. It costs a quarter per card, and you can play as many cards as you want. The last game is the blackout game and it costs $1.00 per card. Please call me at the Center (208) 253-4282) if you have any questions. Thank you to all who come out and support us.

It will answer St. Luke’s Foot Clinic. You can also text to this number. The clinic fills up fast so be sure to call ahead to get on the list.
