The effort to assess the Greater Treasure Valley’s overall community health has been extended and residents of Ada, Elmore, Boise, Valley, Adams, Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, and Washington counties are invited to fill out an online anonymous survey, if they haven’t had a chance to do so.

The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is a private-public initiative convened by the Western Idaho Community Health Collaborative (WICHC) with participation and funding from partner organizations including Central District Health, Saint Alphonsus Health System, Southwest District Health, St. Luke’s Health System, Terry Reilly Health Services, United Way of Treasure Valley, and Weiser Memorial Hospital.

“The survey extension gives WICHC and its CHNA partners spearheading this work the opportunity to conduct additional outreach in our rural counties. Health needs assessments occur every three years, and this survey gives our community members the chance to share what their most pressing health needs are in both our urban and rural communities,” said Berenice Medina, Community Health Strategist, WICHC.

Administered by Metopio, the survey is available in English and Spanish and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Survey results will be used to better understand the health needs of Idahoans and aid in the development of strategies and programming to address the most pressing health challenges across southwest Idaho.

Open through June 30, the survey is available at https://linktr.ee/MetopioSurveys.

All responses to the survey questions are anonymous. To thank community members for completing the survey, 20 participants will be entered into a raffle to win $20 gift cards. Winners will be notified in July via email.
