ADAMS COUNTY, ID – Idaho State Police is investigating a fatality crash that occurred at 2:20 p.m., on Saturday, June 28, 2025, on Highway 95 at milepost 143, just north of Council.
A 2008 Ford Focus, driven by a 31-year-old female from Huntington, Oregon, was traveling southbound on Highway 95 on Fort Hall Hill. A 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 32-year-old male from Nampa, was traveling northbound on Highway 95. The Ford Focus was passing a semi-truck and trailer in a no-passing zone when it collided with the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver of the Ford Focus succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Jeep Cherokee and his passenger, a 35-year-old female from Nampa, were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. All occupants were wearing a seatbelt.
The roadway was blocked for approximately 4 hours. All lanes are back open.
This crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
