Robert Duane Armitage and Nancy Lu (Grossen) Armitage passed away peacefully together on November 7, 2024, at their beloved home in Indian Valley, Idaho.
Married for many cherished years, Bob and Nancy were partners in every sense devoted to each other, their family, and a life well-lived. Their journey was marked by love, laughter, and countless outdoor adventures. Whether they were fishing, camping, or simply sharing stories around a campfire, Bob and Nancy found their greatest joy in the beauty of nature and the company of their loved ones.
They leave behind a legacy of love through their daughter, Angela Armitage (Max Skys), and son, Arlen Armitage (Denice).
They were proud grandparents to Jr Bumgarner (Malia) and Carl Bumgarner, and great-grandparents to Brayden, Bodhi, Case, and Aftynn.
Nancy is also survived by her brother, Tom (Norman) Grossen.
Bob leaves behind his sisters, Roberta and Helen (Ernie). They are also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless dear friends who were touched by their warmth, kindness, and deep devotion to family.
Bob and Nancy’s lives were rooted in community, compassion, and the simple joys of living close to the land. Their legacy lives on in the stories shared, the memories made, and the love they gave so freely.
They will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
