Over 100 kids from across Idaho attended this year’s event.

Since 1979 many volunteers have come together to put on Rodeo Bible Camp for hundreds of kids nationwide. Rodeo Bible Camps of Idaho is a bible-based ministry that aims to introduce teenagers to Jesus Christ, learn about God’s salvation, learn basic rodeo skills, and give kids the opportunity to showcase their expertise through actual rodeo competitions. Every year this organization counts on the support through donations. Rodeo Bible Camp of Idaho wants to give a big thank you to all the generous donors, the wonderful volunteers who take their time to cook and clean, instructors, game organizers, announcers, the local churches who helped in many ways, the Cambridge Rodeo Board and the Washington County Fair. They couldn’t do it without you.

This year the camp hosted over 100 kids from across Idaho and even 1 teenager who flew from Alaska just to be a part of the camp. These kids are eager to learn about God and show off their skills. Kids from 12-18 years of age are eligible to attend camp, with events such as Bareback riding, bull riding, calf roping, saddle bronc, barrel racing, breakaway roping, pole bending, and co-ed team roping. This year’s theme was from the bible verse John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Teaching kids to do the right thing when faced with a hard situation. The organization wants to not only preach the Gospel to these kids but also support them in their rodeo dreams. Camp was from June 16-20 with the last two days being an official rodeo for them. This is a free event for anyone to come out and watch these kids compete.
