The Adams County Democrats have announced the location for the 2024 Adams County Democratic Presidential Caucus.

Council Valley Public Free Library, 104 California Avenue, Council, ID 83612*

“The Adams County Democrats and volunteers are working hard to make sure we have a successful caucus,” said Adams County Democratic Party Chairperson, Barbara Thiele. “When voters participate in the Adams County caucus, they won’t have to listen to any presentations or be locked out if they don’t show up right when voting starts. They will be able to check in, cast their ballot, and then go on their way.”

Democrats from every corner of the state will cast ballots for their presidential preference and elect delegates to the state convention at their county caucus on Thursday, May 23. This is two days after the state primary on May 21. Polls will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.

The Idaho Democratic Party has taken steps to ensure Idahoans, including U.S. military members serving away from home, can participate in the caucus process. Absentee ballots are available to voters who cannot participate in person due to military service, disability or illness, work, childcare obligations, school, inability to travel, or other reasons.

Democrats can request an absentee ballot at the bottom of the page: idahodems.org/caucus. The last day to submit a request is Friday, May 16.

Results from the caucus will be released after all polls close on Thursday, May 23.
