Adams County Health Care Foundation Disburses Money for Grants & Scholarships

This year, the ACHCF dba the Thrifty Shoppe has earned approximately $66,800 from the sales of donated items to the Thrifty Shoppe. This money is used to fund grants to our local county entities and to provide scholarships to Adams County students who are continuing their higher education. This year we had a record number of applicants—11 grant applications and 19 scholarship applications. This year we awarded 7 businesses with a grant and 18 students with a scholarship. For comparison, last year we awarded 10 grants and 12 scholarships.

The total amount awarded for grants this year was: $24,800

The total amount awarded for scholarships this year was: $42,000

The scholarship recipients are:

Levi Armichardy, Cora Bingham, Isaac Dickinson, Jonathan Kaleb Dillon, Mataya Dillon, Isabelle Eppich, Cooper Iveson, Rhianna Iveson, Sydney Nichols, Taylor Noble, Tyson Noble, Joseph Padgett, Mataya Shumway, Wyatt Vining, Carsyn Wright, Gracie Yoakum, Hope Zollman and Rylie Zollman.
