Cambridge FFA Members Participate in “Fairadise”
The week started off with the horse show. Madalyn Reynolds was the Champion FFA showman and Addi McKee-Barton was the Reserve Champion FFA showman.
On Tuesday, members brought in all of their livestock projects. Renna Chandler also exhibited her rabbit in the Small Animal Show.
Wednesday morning was the Swine Show. Members showing swine included Madison Gerlock, Shawn Snedaker, Hailey Kindall, Bridger Miller, Audry Winkles, and Jack Papineau. Jack was the Champion FFA showman, and Audry was the Reserve Champion FFA showman. We also had many class winners in Quality, with Jack having the Reserve Champion market swine.
Wednesday afternoon was the Market and Dairy Goat Show. Two members, Madalyn Reynolds and Bridger Miller, participated with dairy goats. Madalyn was the Champion FFA showman, and Bridger was the Reserve Champion FFA showman.
Thursday morning was the sheep show. There were 23 showmen in the FFA showmanship class. Zane Nichols received third, Hunter Hastie received fourth, and MacKee Nichols received fifth. Also exhibiting sheep were Haven Harley, Asher Harley, Hope Harrison, Addi McKee-Barton, Emma Ford, Easton Hastie, and Madalyn Reynolds. In addition, there were many class winners in Quality and Breeding.
Thursday afternoon was the Beef Breeding show. MacKee Nichols and Madalyn Reynolds exhibited projects, with MacKee having the Champion Beef Breeding female.
Friday morning was the Beef Showmanship and Market classes. Members showing beef were Zane Nichols, Russell Noah, Jace Mink, Mackenzie Sprague, Eli Noah, Wyatt Moura, Madalyn Reynolds, Eric Loveland, Ridge Loveland, MacKee Nichols, and Charlee Noah. Zane Nichols was the Champion FFA showman, and MacKee Nichols was Reserve Champion. In Quality, there were multiple class winners, and Jace Mink had the Champion market steer.
Friday afternoon was the Small Animal Round Robin, with the champion being Renna Chandler.
Saturday morning was the large animal round Robin, and members Madalyn Reynolds (horse), Jack Papineau (swine), Bridger Miller (dairy goat), and Zane Nichols (beef) participated. Zane Nichols was the Reserve Champion FFA Round Robin showman. Following the Round Robin, the market livestock sale was in the afternoon.
