Cambridge School Puts on Veterans Day Program

On Monday, November 11th, 2024, the Cambridge School District hosted a Veterans Day ceremony to recognize all individuals who have served in our community. FFA members presented each veteran with a rose as they were escorted to their seats. Following a prayer by Pastor John Loewen and the singing of the national anthem by a student from Cambridge High School, several members of the FFA shared poems honoring veterans. The program featured performances interwoven with songs sung by elementary students from kindergarten through fourth grade, and special song by Mr. Davis accompanied by Mr. Wolfe on the guitar. The program was a magnificent tribute to the service and sacrifices of veterans throughout our nation’s history.
