Council city council held a special meeting at 1:00 p.m. on November 20. The purpose of this meeting was to formally accept the city engineers proposed lot division of the city industrial park. This was motioned, seconded and approved by the city council.

Next, the new lots will be surveyed, appraised and then sold. This will create 10 one acre (approximately) lots. This includes the four buildings in the industrial park that Starkey Water occupied at least a portion of. The county has expressed some interest in certain properties and will be given first ‘dibs’ on these. City Hall will not be sold but the other nine will be.

The current lease holder is Allegro Coffee, which is owned by Whole Foods, which is in turn owned by Amazon. The current lease is up in March of next year. The city is trying to get all this set so that they can sell the properties.
