Cross Country Notes
Many of you have already been communicated with and know that our boys team made it to state! I wanted to give a few details and if anyone has questions probably best to text me, number’s below. I don’t have access at the moment to my school email so messaging in my personal email.
It was a really good day for a race for weather, number of participants, and especially the mental focus and physical preparation this team had. Our motto this year was “we work hard and we run smart.” And they certainly did that today.
Racing at districts, especially at West Park in Nampa, is an interesting endeavor. We raced almost the same course as the week prior, just a lot more nerves. So most everyone who ran today was a little slower than last week. This is not isolated to our team.

Cascade - no score, had an unfortunate accident that still counted them as a team but not enough runners to qualify.

State Boys race will take place in Lewiston on November 1. 2A boys race will be at 11:30 a.m..
Also worth mentioning, Tri-Valley Middle School girls were district champions this year with their top five finishing 3-7th place for a score of 25. Their HS women’s team finished second and is also going to state.
