ITD officially re-opened Highway 95 on Monday, April 28 after repairs were completed to the damaged section. However, many people reported that the highway was open as early as Friday, three days prior. No word on why ITD chose not to publicize the earlier opening. Many people were enjoying the light traffic with the highway closed, however local businesses that rely on highway traffic will be happy to see sales return to normal as soon as possible.
