It takes a lot of work to put on a local election. Just in Adams County 939 employee hours were worked to get the county ready for the election. An additional 770 hours were worked on Election Day between 48 poll workers and nine county employees. This is according to Gertie Young in the Adams County Clerk’s Office.

There were 3,378 registered voters in Adams County on Election Day. This number includes the number of registered voters before election day as well as the number of voters who registered on Election Day. County wide, there were 2,726 ballots cast for a turnout rate of just over 80%. Each of the five voting precincts all had turnout rates from 79 - 81%.
