Meet Me at the Pumpkin Patch
On Friday, October 4th, the Council Mountain Farmer’s Market will culminate their 2024 season with a harvest celebration market, themed “Meet me at the Pumpkin Patch.” This is the final market of the year and will run longer than usual, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. This is the biggest market of the season, and will have a wide variety of vendors, new and old, from Council and the surrounding areas. As in previous years, vendors will decorate their booths for the season and children are encouraged to dress up and Trick or Treat the different booths. There will also be pumpkin painting for the kids!
The Council Mountain Farmer’s Markets has been running for six seasons! Market Manager, Amanda Gratton, said that it has been a slower year than usual, possibly due to the unusual season and the smoke that permeated the area for much of it, but she is very grateful to all her vendors and the community that has come out to support them. So come shop local this Friday, and “Meet Me at the Pumpkin Patch” in downtown Council at the Council Mountain Farmer’s Market.
