Midvale Playground gets a Refresh

Just in time for Midvale’s Fall Festival last month, Scooter Vogel and crew Kevin Fry and Nick Nelson successfully completed the recent Midvale Community Playground upgrades: pouring cement curbing around the perimeter, placing heavy duty rubber mats under the swings and slide landings and topping off the mulch.
We express our gratitude to:
Scooter Vogel for donating his time to lead the project.
Shannon Williams of Midvale Sand and Gravel for donating the cement.
John Whitener for the use of his backhoe, in addition to he and his father-in-law’s help with the cement pour.
Stan Weikal for the rubber mats, his leadership and consistent investment into our community over the last 30 years.
Shellie Colvard and Lexy Ash for the marker stone mosaic.
Financial donations by: Nancy Evans, Dennis and Tonya Holmes, Garett and Hailey Wolfe, Austin and CJ Barnett, Paul and Cassidy Rose, Tyler and Savannah Rose, Perk and Norma Rose, Bruce and Barbara Warfield Gordon, the Hochstrat family, Suzanne Ash, Angela Cardenas, Amanda Vaughn and Amanda Briscoe.
Project support from: Kevin Hooper, Cindy Van Vlet (Midvale Merc.), and the Midvale Pool Board.
Midvale Community Partners is a volunteer-led and managed 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization of invested local neighbors working together for the benefit of our community.
