Midvale Pool Bike-a-thon Raises Thousands
Saturday morning was a beautiful day for the Midvale Pool annual Bike-a-thon. Thirty people participated in the event. The route for riders started at the school and went around the block four times for a total of ten miles.
An amazingly generous community raised $9,135.50 towards the maintenance and operation of the pool. The pool committee said “We are beyond grateful! Our kids and our community are the Absolute Best!”
Top fund raisers were: First place Josie LaFollette, $2,000, who will get to enjoy an America’s Rafting trip in Hells Canyon for four people. Second place was Jackson Doggett, $1,800, who won two passes to Roaring Springs water park. Third place was Ruby Wood, $1,100.50 who won a $50 gift card. Fourth place was Annie Lampe, $868, who won a $25 gift card. Congratulations to all and thank you for all of your hard work!
The pool board also thanks the VonJess family of America’s Rafting Company for their incredible donation towards this year’s First Place Prize!
