Midvale School Board Approves Adding Another Elem. Teacher

At Monday’s regular meeting of the Midvale School Board, the trustees approved adding another elementary position. The need for another teacher was seen as the enrollment numbers have been increasing in the past few years.

Also approved by the board was an upgrade for the elementary heating system, a date for the next cooperative sports meeting, and the signing of the Code of Ethics for Trustees by one member who was absent at the January meeting.

In the superintendent’s report she was pleased to announce seven new National Honor Society members. Six Titan wrestlers medaled at the state meet. Parent/teacher conferences will be March 7 from 4-7:00 p.m., and March 8 from 8:00 a.m.-noon.

The next meeting of the board will be March 25 at 7:00 p.m..
