Project Prom is returning to Council for a one day event, Saturday March 28 at the Council Senior Center. Project Prom is a free event designed to help every young lady feel beautiful. At the event girls can choose from dozens of donated gowns, as well as shoes and accessories, to find the perfect prom dress or outfit for any special occasion. Project Prom was started last year by former Miss Intermountain West, Cheyenne Warner-Bennion, who is a real estate agent locally and owner of the Council Inn. Cheyenne started the event after receiving inspiration (and dress donations) from one of her “sash sisters” from the beauty pageant world. Last year’s event was a huge success and Cheyenne expects this year to be as well.

Ladies can come to the Council Senior center on March 28 from 10:00-5:00 to find the perfect prom dress. There is no charge for anything. If you have items you would like to donate to the cause the Council Valley Free Library and the Council Inn are currently accepting gently used prom dresses, shoes, and accessories for the event. Project Prom, show them how beautiful you are!
