Sweethearts Shop For Valentines in Midvale

It was a hard choice to make for these two shoppers. So many goodies had come in for the annual Lions Valentine Bake Sale held at the Midvale VFW Saturday morning. They decided upon lavishly decorated cupcakes to take to a Superbowl party on Sunday. They must have made a grand impressive entrance to the party for those cupcakes were stunning.

Lois Sutton, a longtime Lion, now from New Plymouth, arrived first to “turn on the heat” in the large room. The tables were loaded with cookies, cheesecake, fudge, bread, elaborately wrapped Rice Krispie treats, and more candy. The local Lions Club has members from Cambridge also, including younger ones, which is encouraging for any organization.
