The Adams County Health Care Foundation, doing business as the Council Thrifty Shoppe, is proud to announce our 2025 Scholarship & Grant Awards

We would like to congratulate all of our hard-working Adams County students who received scholarships for the upcoming school year. This year, the Adams County Health Care Foundation awarded a total of $48,000 in scholarships to fifteen Adams County students who will be attending college and/or trade school in the Fall of 2025 and Spring of 2026. We are extremely proud of each of our recipients and wish you continued success as you follow your dreams and achieve your educational goals.

The Adams County Health Care Foundation also recently awarded $26,900 in grants to the following local organizations:

Adams County Sheriff’s Office

Council Chamber of Commerce

Council Elementary Library

Council Quilt Ladies

Council Senior Center

Council Valley Ambulance

Council Valley Library

Indian Valley Fire Department

Meadows Valley Fire Department

Rose Advocates

The total amount of scholarship and grants awarded this year was $74,900!! We thank you for your continued support of our volunteer non-profit Thrifty Shoppe. Your donated goods and generous monetary donations at check-out are greatly appreciated.

We are truly grateful for our AWESOME team of volunteers and Board Members who give of their time to serve our community. It is with great pride that we award the above-noted scholarships and grants. Your continued support allows us to give back to Adams County!
