I’ve spent a good part of today preparing the items for our Membership letter for distribution. I’m hoping it will be sometime this week, so be on the lookout for it.
This year, we will send out our new registration forms for everyone to complete. The main difference between the old forms and the new ones is the Attestation Statement. It’s a short statement that all members are required to read and date, attesting that they are Citizens of the United States of America. Please be sure to date your registration.
Enclosed with your new registration forms are a letter from our President of the board, a dues statement (dues are payable now), and a new Ridley’s Advantage Program registration form (these must be completed yearly). You can either bring them into the center with you or mail them back to the center. I would like to have the majority of them back by the end of February at the latest.
Our Next fundraiser is this coming Friday, January 16th. A Baked Potato Bar! It starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. If we run out of food, we will close earlier. The cost is $12 per person, or $6 for children ages 12 and under (There won’t be a noon meal on Friday, January 16th).
Wednesday, January 21st, is our Food Pantry day. From 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22nd, is our monthly shopping trip to Ontario. There is a sign-up sheet on the front table. We need at least three seniors to ride the van; otherwise, the trip will be canceled. We have two people signed up and room for 4 more. If you want to join us, give me a call at the center at (208) 257-3358 or stop by to sign up.
