Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite this Saturday April 4, 2026 at 6 p.m. when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT), and nearly 30 local students from Council, Mesa, Cambridge, Midvale and Indian Valley, present BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST. Featured as Beauty Lou will be Kyra Lincoln. The Daughters will be played by Sydney Loveland, Oakleigh Overacker, Gia Bilboa, Mayson Reib, Evelynn Collings, and Emerald Hart. Imaginary Friend will be played by Adriel Collings. Beast will be played by Damian Moore. Dusty and Slim the helpful farmhands will be played by Oliver Ogle Banerjee and Judd Loveland. Faithful friend Fleabite Clyde, the dog, will be played by Sawyer Burdick. Hoping to win enough money to save the family farm, Buck sets off for the rodeo and is joined by the rest of the Country Folk played by Waylon Hart, Claire Turnbull, Ox Fortin, Gabe Summers, Avery Warren, Conrad Manning, and Camden Stewart, Shya Beyuka, and Payton Fergurson, and Barnyard Critters played by Ava Ogle Banerjee, Dustin Turnbull, Deekan Morgan, Hayden Warfield, Micah Beyuka and Malcom Manning.
Beauty Lou and the Country Beast will be presented at 6:00 p.m. at the Cambridge High School Gym. The performance is free to attend. The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Cambridge, Idaho is presented locally by Beyond the Bell After School Program with support from Frontier Motel.
