I am writing to share my strong support for Daren Ward, Adams County Commissioner. I have had the opportunity to observe Daren during many commissioner meetings. I have found him to be engaged, informed, and always well prepared. In addition, Daren is not afraid to ask tough, well thought out questions regarding County government issues.
In his tenure as County Commissioner, Daren has demonstrated the acumen and fiduciary responsibility to help manage the County’s approximate annual $19 million dollar budget. This often entails making tough decisions, balancing the best interests of the taxpayer, and still ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of County services.
Daren supports minimal government intrusion, and private property rights. I believe Daren has demonstrated a deep commitment to our community keeping taxpayers and residents best interests front and foremost.
I have known Daren for over 7 years. He is kind, thoughtful and honest. He has demonstrated experience and integrity in the performance of his duties as a County Commissioner.
