I support Daren Ward for Adams County Commissioner. I have known Daren and his beautiful wife Marcella for many years. They are truly ‘salt of the earth’ and exemplify traditional family values. They have been married for 37 years. I have volunteered with them at our local Thrifty Shoppe, I have served with them at various church functions, and I have traveled on a mission trip to Kenya with both of them. I have also been blessed to do fun things like fish in our beautiful rivers and lakes with the two of them. Candidly, voting isn’t about friendship, its about “the right person for the job”. If you ask me why I’m voting for Daren, my answer would be easy. First and foremost, his work ethic is beyond reproach; he is fair and honest, well spoken and willing to listen, he is well versed with state and local issues, and he has a servant’s heart!
