I’m finally getting rested up from the Taco Feed. It takes me so much longer to recover from mental and physical exertion than it did, say, even 10 years ago. I guess, as much as I hate to admit it, I’m really starting to feel my age.
It reminds me of a little sign I put up on the bulletin board a few years ago. It says, “I really don’t mind getting older, but my body is taking it badly”. I’m finding it helps to keep a good sense of humor about the process of aging. It’s just all part of the journey home.
That’s enough of philosophy 101. Boy, there have been lots of Police cars and a Rescue van speeding through Cambridge in the last hour or so. I sure hope no one was hurt, but with that many emergency vehicles going through town, it makes you wonder what is going on.
