The Lower Weiser River Cooperative Weed Management Area and Washington County Weed will host a pesticide applicator seminar on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Class will begin at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 9:15 p.m. There is no charge for this class. The seminar will be held in the Exhibit Hall at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Cambridge, Idaho.
The evening will begin with Worker Protection and WPS requirements as well as dealing with chemical security. The second speaker will focus upon dealing with crop pests and appropriate chemical selections. The final presentation will feature the battle with kochia and Russian thistle and appropriate chemical choices.
While this is a continuing education class anyone wishing to learn more is welcome to attend. A pesticide applicator license is not required.
Light refreshments will be served. Idaho Pesticide Applicators will receive three credits for this class. You must attend the entire class to receive credit. Please RSVP to the Weed Department at (208) 414-1950.
