I have to once again apologize for not putting an article in the paper. It seems like I have been under the weather off and on (more on than off) since the first of the year. I finally broke down and went to the doctor, and I do think I am going to make it!
As most of you know, we got our new carpet installed on February 3rd and 4th. This was made possible by a generous grant from the George McCready Foundation. Not only did they fund the new carpet but also sponsored several of our Meals on Wheels people. Thank you so much!!
The menu for the coming week: Friday March 7th: French Dip Sandwich with Au Jou, Tater Tots, Peas, Green Salad, and Apple Crisp. Tuesday March 11th: Chicken Enchilada, Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, Corn, Salad, and Dessert. Wednesday 12th: Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Tomato Soup, Salad, Fruit, and Cherry Cobbler.
We have been having great Bingo nights with lots of folks coming in to visit and play. We are even getting some new folks too! Our next bingo is on March 7th and the blackout pot will be at $80 with 53 numbers to be called. Folks start to show up from 6:30 p.m. on and Jared starts calling at 7:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call me at the Center (208) 253-4282). Thank you to all who come out and support us.
The March foot clinic is on Monday the 17th. It is usually on the 3rd Monday of the month. The foot clinic phone number is: (208) 986-0759 and that is a dedicated line just for the foot clinic. It will answer St. Luke’s Foot Clinic. You can also text to this number.
