I hope everyone had a great Holiday Season!! It doesn’t seem like it is 2026! Anybody make New Year’s resolutions? I gave up on them years ago as I can’t seem to keep them. Instead I try to do the best I can every day.
I would like to give a huge Thank You to all our volunteers for all that they do for the Center! Without them it would be difficult to keep things going. They make everything run smoothly.
We have new blinds in the dining area that we purchased with our grant money. They look awesome! They are such a big improvement over the slatted ones.
We serve lunch at 12 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. For Take-Out Meals, please call in your order by 10:00 a.m. and pick up is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you are ordering multiple meals please try and call in the day before. The January Menus are ready for pick up.
The menu for the coming week: Friday January 9th: Finger Steaks & Chicken Nuggets, Oven Fried Potatoes, Corn, Toast, Green Salad, Fruit, and Dessert. Tuesday January 13th: Beef Stew, Cornbread, Fruit w/Cottage Cheese, Green Salad, and Dessert. Wednesday January 14th: Lasagna, Green Beans, Roll, Fruit, Green Salad, and Dessert.
Our next Bingo will be on January 16th. No one won the black out so the pot will go to $130 and Jared will be calling 58 numbers. Unless something comes up, we have bingo on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. For new players, folks start showing up around 6:30 p.m. or after and Jared starts calling at 7:00 p.m. It costs a quarter per card, and you can play as many cards as you want. The last game is the blackout game and it costs $1.00 per card. Please call me at the Center (208) 253-4282) if you have any questions. Thank you to all who come out and support us.

It will answer St. Luke’s Foot Clinic. You can also text to this number. The clinic fills up fast so be sure to call ahead to get on the list.
