Doren (Lee) Portenier, 70, of New Meadows, Idaho passed away on September 1, 2025 of natural causes.
Doren requested to be cremated, and to have his ashes spread in the Snake River below Hells Canyon Dam.
Doren was born in Weiser, ID July 6, 1955. He went to school in Weiser until the age of 16 when he went to live with his dad Kansas.
Doren was married to Judy Hale in 1974. They were married 8 years. Patti Espy in 1987-1988. He also was married to Terri Rousseau in 1994.
Doren fell timber for many years around New Meadows. Then later went on construction work around McCall running equipment and carpentry.
Doren loved to hunt, fish, ride dirt bikes, snowmobiles, reloading, cabinet making and his absolute favorite was riding his Harley.
Doren is survived by his brothers Robbie, Lowell and Jerry, his sisters Loralee and Lois, his two sons Damen and Theodore, his two grandkids Tanner and Kyanne. His two best friends TJ and Jethro of New meadows.
